From Marrakech or Ouarzazate, in a 10-day trek in Morocco in the desert, you will cross as the nomads the great wilderness of the Moroccan desert, to the rhythm of the caravan of your dromedaries, hiking or camelback. You will like the bivouacs on the edge of small oases or in the dunes, you will discover the sumptuous landscapes of southern Morocco. And succumb to the magic of the Sahara and its starry nights.
Day 1 : Marrakech * Mhamid
The ferst day of your program is dedicated to the transfer from Marrakech to the desert of Mhamid where you will begin your Sahara trekking. The route will be punctuated by stops to allow you to make visits during the day going down to the gates of the Morocco desert.
Thus you will visit the famous Kasbah of Telouet and the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou which is located near Ouarzazate.
After lunch, you will take the road to advance further in the great south of Morocco. You will continue your route on the slopes of the oasis that extends to Mhamid, the last village of this one.
Once arrived at M’hamid, installation for the night in our desert camp.
You leave M'hamid and walk by the large palm trees. You will discover a small dune and Tamarisk to reach the Marabout Sidi Naji.Day 3 : Sidi Naji * Zair
From Sidi Naji we join the Ban chain, towards the Algerian border to reach Zair old souk and the Casbah ruin a where we pitch our tents.Day 4 : Zair * Zahar
We descend the bathroom where we discover a clear view of the elaammari plain to join the Marabout of Sidi AOMR.Day 5 : Zahar * Erg smar
The Morning is dedicated to the discovery of the flora and fauna, to the erg Smar oasis (ruins of a former village).Day 6 : Erg smar * Oum tobgane
We cross the forest from Tamaris Atlet to Salem. We stop to camp at the edge of the dunes, close to the ancient cultures of Oum tobgane.Day 7 : Oum tobgane * El aalem
Crossing part of Reg, we reach the lake to iriqui Erg Elaalem at Bivouac between Wadi and the sand dunes.Day 8 : Elaalem * Erg lroul
The Day match is dedicated to the discovery of Iriqui dry lake where we spend the evening at the Erg Lroul.Day 9 : Erg Lroul - Oasis sacrée Mhamid
Return journey in ATV to arrive at Mhamid. A visit of the old Kasbah Hammam in the late afternoon.Day 10 : Mhamid * Marrakech
Return to Marrakech via Tamgroute where we will stop at Zaouia Naceria, one of the most prestigious zaouïas of North Africa. Its medersa has a very rich and unique library: Ancient manuscripts dating back nine centuries, precious scientific treatises, religious works from the Andalusian Golden Age and illuminated Korans.
At the exit of the village, there is the cooperative of the potters, the other pride of Tamgroute.
These pottery workshops, the oldest and most famous in Morocco, have existed since the 16th century. Seven families work there, 260 people. Potters still work in a traditional way. They extract their clay in underground galleries, and prepare their slip by treading under foot. They cook their pottery in traditional ovens heated with palms and dry bushes The ceramics of Tamgroute, of a subtle green, between Reseda and Fir is very famous throughout Morocco.
